Tiapia is a mild-tasting white fish which is rich in protein and Omega-3 fatty acids that lends itself well to a variety of presentations.
ColdSnap Aquaponics purchases tilapia fry from a renowned fish breeder in New Mexico and raises the fish by using organic practices. The tilapia is raised in a closed-loop system in a controlled environment where there is no need for pesticides. The fish is free of hormones, antibiotics, chemicals, and metals.
Tilapia will be harvested approximately every four weeks beginning in December 2017. Whole fish will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will be delivered to customers on ice. The average size is 1.5 to 2 pounds.
The price will be based on the quantity purchased.

Lettuce is a fast-growing, versatile and abundant product that lends itself well to Farm to School and Farm to Restaurant programs. It’s also great for grocery stores looking for local produce available year round.
Here are some of our popular varieties:
Romaine – Compact and uniform leaves are the hallmark of romaine. Leaves are thick, upright, and have an excellent crisp texture. Mini-heads and full-size heads provide a variety of options for use. Green and red varieties are available.
Bibb and Butterhead – Both lettuces have ruffly outer leaves surrounding a center rosette. The sweet, buttery flavor and delicate texture of the outer leaves provide great eating quality. Grown as mini-head or mature medium head and mainly green in coloration, newer varieties are featuring red coloration.
Fancy Leaf – Oakleaf, Lollo, and Heritage varieties are the mainstay in this category. These provide loft, color, and texture to salads with attractive lobes, frills, and color variations. New varieties include Watercress, Arugula, Kale, and Merlot.
Microgreens – Microgreens are “sprout-like” sizes of lettuce varieties that pair well with specific dishes and cuisines. Choose from Arugula, Radish, Sunflower, or Mixed Microgreens to complement your creation.
Herbs help transform ordinary recipes into culinary dishes bursting with flavor and pizzazz. For the best taste for your creations, fresh herbs can’t be beat. We grow and harvest Basil and Cilantro, with plans to diversify our herb plantings in the future.
